Target #1: Gestation Crates

Gestation crates are metal grates or cages in which pregnant pigs are kept for the entirety of their pregnancy; they are so narrow that the sow cannot turn around and can only stand up, for months on end.

They are illegal in only a few states.

"Battery cages" are densely-packed metal wire cages stacked together. Most egg-laying hens in the US live in them.
