- reach lawmakers and pressure them to conform to wishes of the people who elected them
- pay lobbyists/advocates (and do this ourselves) to gain access to lawmakers
- run social medica campaigns to bring constituent awareness to certain issues, to highlight importance thereof to lawmakers
- put an end to battery cages, gestation crates, and more
